History

Anthony Bosley has been developing this story for decades, so on this page we’re going to share of the  back stories behind this whole yarn.

The vision of Cyad-M as a character has been burning a hole in Anthony’s brain since the 80’s.  He had sketched hundreds of versions trying to develop the right “look” for this character.

Cyad-M has a very particular personality which Anthony has been trying to portray throughout his comics.  He’s not your typical “super-hero” type of character.  The whole story itself reflects on the life of this being in a way that evokes thought and deep introspection, as he continues to ponder the deepest questions about the nature of our universe while simultaneously performing his mandated duties for the Setra Sikordis conglomerate.

Hair or no hair?

Throughout the story, you will see images of Cyad-M both with and without his skullcap, and also with and without hair.

The skullcap is a device that allows him to communicate via brainwaves to all of the functions present in his space suit, as well as any external equipment such the regulator and his anti-gravity disk.

In regards to hair,  Cyad-M often chooses to shave his head completely so as not to be encumbered with the responsibility of managing it, however it grows fairly quickly, which is why he is often seen with the blue mop.
